Crazy Ole Heart is the new release from singer/songwriter Diana Williamson.  The single was produced by Bob Wiseman (former Blue Rodeo keys), cowritten with Paul Jacques (guitarist for Honky Stomp) and funded by Factor (The Canadian Media Fund)

It's being released on St. Patrick's Day to celebrate Diana's love for all things Irish and in memory of her beloved "Honey", her 21 yr old cat which her publishing company (Honey Cat Tunes) is named after, who passed away on this day.  Diana's ancestors apparently traced their roots back to the reckless Irish queen, Catherine Howard.  When the young queen reasoned "what's good for the goose is good for the gander" and took on a lover, Henry the 8th retaliated and chopped off her head.

This is Diana's 2nd Factor grant and first recording since relocating to Niagara Falls after ten years writing and performing in Los Angeles.  While in the City of Angels, Diana garnered a "Top Female Singer/songwriter of the Year" Award from (The Los Angeles Music Awards) and wrote two no# 3  Billboard Hot Club chart singles "Freak Like Me" and "Awakening" for other artists.  A favorite feather in her cap was producing Temptation singer Ali Woodson for a Christmas album.  The Los Angeles Times described her artist performance as "A flavorful, confident groove redolent of Woodstock era "The Band and "Van Morrison".

Diana's presently writing and gearing up for some summer performances with her new "Wizards of Song" Songwriter series where she invites prominent songwriters on stage to talk about their hits.
